At about 41º10'
South, beyond the end of paved roads, is the spot in Tasmania where
there is no life. Just the inhospitable rocky shore, the
crashing Southern Ocean, and a bone-freezing wind. Just The Edge
of the World.
Looking west, it's 17,000 miles to the next edge -- Argentina. Since Argentina wasn't in our plans for the day, we cast our peddles into Eternity, took pictures, and traveled back toward civilization.
