At about 41º10' South, beyond the end of paved roads, is the spot in Tasmania where there is no life.  Just the  inhospitable rocky shore, the crashing Southern Ocean, and a bone-freezing wind.  Just The Edge of the World.

Looking west, it's 17,000 miles to the next edge -- Argentina.

Since Argentina wasn't in our plans for the day, we cast our peddles into Eternity, took pictures, and traveled back toward civilization.
